Catagrams Privacy Policy

We care about user privacy and would like to explain what data is gathered in Catagrams and how it is used.

Ads

Catagrams uses a third-party service, Google AdMob, to show advertisements. Google AdMob collects some user data for advertising purposes, possibly based on user interests.

Ads are displayed only when the player requests a hint or new words for their puzzle. Catagrams offers an in-app purchase to remove all ads.

Analytics

Catagrams collects anonymous, play-related data, which is used only by us to improve our games.

This data is collected using Aptabase, a third-party, "privacy-first" analytics service. Per Aptabase:

Sessions tracked by Aptabase are completely anonymous and untraceable. The data we collect is not linked to any identifiable individual. Aptabase does not use device identifiers, cookies, fingerprinting nor long-term user identification.
