What have I been working on?

Illustrations for the "Italy" cat! No spoilers on the specifics, but I'll just say that I'm pretty terrible at drawing vehicles. I kept procrastinating working on this scene because for me, it's definitely the hardest. 🚗

On the programming side, I've been optimizing the puzzle generator. The first iteration of the puzzle generator was pretty basic, and I knew there would be a lot of opportunity for improvement. One thing I noticed was that when the puzzle settings are at a high number of words and small word length, it was performing a lot of retries to create a valid puzzle – which in more extreme cases was introducing over a half second lag. So I've been playing around with ways to increase its chance of success.

What malady have I been complaining the most about?

Insomnia. 😴
